Diversify Ice Fellowship & Foundation (DIFF) is a figure skating development program for qualified skaters who experience hardships in the sport. It was created by Joel Savary, a coach who has experienced and witnessed many barriers to figure skating.
The program attracts underrepresented figure skaters who have demonstrated talent and need. Intrinsically, the program is designed to diversify figure skating by developing a cadre of potential champions. We hope to get there by sponsoring and mentoring skaters while providing them with opportunities and networks to help them excel.
